I finally did get access to a CAD Program, in 1994...   ...and they have come a long way since then!
CAD is such a powerful tool for the human imagination, that if you have never used it before, then you may
not fully appreciate the enthusiasm of those who have mastered it.  I fully beleive that some day we will be
teaching it to students in Middle School, or perhaps even Elementary School, and encouraging young people to "blog" their dreams into a veiwable 'dream-dairy'.  These tools are available today, but they are still quite expensive, and cost-prohibitive for most people...   ...but the most common of these "animation" programs,
like
3D Studio, make even the most complex of 'dreams' fully "transferable" to another persons cognition.
That brings us to a "new" level of organized civilization, where the 'collective-unconscious' of humanity
becomes completely "chartable"!
Certainly, not everyone would be willing to have all his personal 'psyche' open for veiwing for the entire
World to 'psychoanalize' at their disposal, but there may be significant benefits to society if we become acutely aware if 'one-among-us' is having particularly strong nocturnal images.
I do beleive it to be in the long-term best interests of our Society to bring these tools within the reach of
everyone.  Perhaps in the not-too-distant future,  "Computer-Literacy" will approach "CAD-Literacy" in its'
basic definition.
Just Imagine what DaVinci would have done with "tools" like these?
