Federation data: PR12-356

This small planet called PR12-356 is located in the lesser explored region of the Veronas galaxy. The first-contact Federation teams have dubbed the planet as tumultuous, as the outer atmosphere is thick and highly changing. Any communication devices have been unable to work as the signals will not travel through, and the planet's raging storms have proven difficult to sustain.

The first-contact teams have reported a small budding civilization whom they have not had the chance to approach. The society is highly primitive, most reminiscent to the ancient Roman cultures of Earth. There are only two main cities, each on either side of a large river, and most other small villages along this body of water. The people themselves are humanoid in appearance, save their eyes which are a bright green. Federation scientists have hypothesized that these people have a natural night vision, allowing them to survive during the storms, which cut off most light.

Because of the weather conditions, Federation agents have not been able to stay on the planet for long, but have concluded that there is little use for any open treaties. The people have no useful knowledge or technology to contribute. The planet will be housed in our computers, but any further trips to the planet are on hiatus until any important use can be discovered.
