Cervical Cancer Caregiving :

If you're the partner of a woman with cervical
cancer, you have an important role to play. You may feel
frustrated that you're unable to take the problem away, but one
of the best things you can do is to just be a shoulder for her
to lean on. Lend an ear when she's feeling down or fragile, and
think of ways you can make things easier for her during her
treatment and recovery. Don't be afraid to voice your own
concerns for her safety and well-being, either. Finally, be
aware that cervical cancer can rock a woman's self-esteem and
may affect her intimate relationships. Although a cancerdiagnosis
can be tough on any relationship ! even the most stable ! your
love and support can help the two of you to get through a
difficult time.
