| LACMTA's only subway line in the county which traveles from North Hollywood to Union station and Shutlle service from Wilshire Western/Union Station. The line was opened at Union Station 1993, Wilshire /Western 1996, Hollywood 1999, North Hollywood 2000. The whole system cost $4.5 Billion dollars. There are 16 stations, a total of 104 subway cars and is 17.4 miles in total distance. Weekday boardings are at the 100,000 mark and weekend close to 70,000 riders. |
