LACMTA Metro Rail " Blue Line"
One of LACMTA's light rail lines that travels from Downtown L.A.'s 7th St. Metro Center to Long Beach. The system was opened in 1990. It travels a total of 22 miles from L.A. to Log Beach and cost the city $877 million dollars. It has 22 stations and has a total of 69 Nippon Shayo Light Rail cars, in which few are painted in the OLD PACIFIC ELECTRIC trolley scheme. Avrage boardings are 67,000 weekday and 45,000 weekend and is one of MTA's oldest rail line.
