About the 1989 Flxible Metros
These buses were powered by an Cummins L10G Engine and a Voith DIWA Transmission. These usually showed up on lines 204 and 354- (Line 354 out of service as of December 5 2002). They were always on layover down at Vermont and I remeber riding these coaches. These buses were powerfull they were powered by a Cummins L10 diesel engine. These buses are all retired
Some distinctive features were the engine not loud but if you hear it you will know it's a Flxible. Also when the bus stops the windows tend to rattle. |
