M.E.T.E.R.electronics was approached by LONDON TRANSPORT MUSEUM to find out if it was possible to fix the Dockland Light Railway exhibit, the DLR model is a high profile fixture in the museum and yet has proved consistently unreliable.

OLD CONTROL SYSTEM

We studied the ordinal control system diagrams and circuits, we found some technical problems that would not make the system function probably, and we gave the option to refurbish the old system or have a new system build.

NEW CONTROL SYSTEM
|
A complete new system maintenance free with high reliable full loco control detection and space boards as back up to the system, if the control system failed, the unserviceable board removed sent back to M.E.T.E.R.electronics for repair and a space bored was available to maintain the exhibit as so not to disappoint the paying visitors.

1 High reliable, working 8 hrs a day 7 days a week 52 weeks a year.

2 No maintenance.
|
3 Spare control board in case of failure.
|
4 No outside interference i.e. mobile phones.
