Saiya-jin Saga The Saiya-jin saga begins with the very first episode of Dragon Ball Z and ends on episode 35. It basically gives the background info on Goku that was never given in dragon ball. A Saiyajin called Raditz tells Goku that he is not only a Saiyajin, but his brother also. He tells him that the Saiyajin are mostly an evil race, born warriors that love to fight. They conquer and sell planets to the highest bidder. Which leads to why Goku, whose real Saiya-jin name is Kakarotto, is on earth. Saiya-jin babies are sent to planets to conquer and destroy all life forms. But when Goku was little he fell down a rivine and hit his head quite badly, this lead him to forget his mission, and it made him become peacefull and loving. Radditz who is Goku's brother kidnaps Gohan, Goku's son, until Goku kills some humans. And this is where the saga and fighting really begin. Goku and Piccolo agree to put their differences aside and fight Raditz. Raditz is whooping them both until Gohan unleashes his anger and his hidden power. Gohan bursts out of Raditz's ship and headbutts him in the ribs. Raditz is knocked down and Gohan passes out. Raditz then takes it upon himself to exterminate the new threat but Goku manages to grab Raditz under his arms. Goku then tells Piccolo to try his speacial beam cannon again, Piccolo knows Goku will die too so he accepts and fires the beam cannon right through both Raditz and Goku. In Raditz's last moments alive Piccolo mention the Dragonballs and how Goku will be back to life within a year. Raditz the calls Piccolo stupid and admits his scouter is also a communicator and now two more Saiya-jins more powerful than him are coming to Earth... Freeza Saga The Freeza saga begins with episode 36 and ends on episode 107. The Z warriors are all grieving for their losses in the Saiya-jin saga. They need a way to bring their friends back, since the dragon balls on earth are nothing but stones now, they need a new plan. Krillin remembers Vegeta saying that the root of the dragon balls are in Namek. So Goku contacts King Kai about the location of Namek, their hopes are shattered when they find out that it would take thousands of years to get there by a normal space ship. Krillin coming to aid again, pulls out Nappa's space pod controller, which operates his fast Saiya-jin space pod, which is now there key to reach Namek. But when Bulma fools around with the controller, Nappa's spaceship explodes, so now they have no transportation at all, they're back at square one. This is when Mr. Popo informs them of Kami's space ship that he landed on earth in, it is perfect for the job. Dr. Briefs, Bulma, and a few assistants fix the ship to optimal condition and now Bulma, Krillin, and Gohan take an excursion to the Planet Namek, and are ready for all the adventures ahead of them. What they don't know lies ahead of them is, Vegeta has fully recovered, and now is also on his trip to Namek in search for the dragon balls, and also a new evil villian has surfaced, also looking for Namek's dragon balls, and he has unimaginable power that far surpasses any of the Z warriors. Garlic Jr. Saga With the nearing of the Planet Makyou to earth, all of the demon race becomes more powerful. Due to this new power Garlic Junior can escape from the dead zone, and now he wants to get revenge for his imprisionment, and wreak havoc on the earth by releasing the Evil Mist, which turns everyone into evil mindless zombies. Gohan, Krillin and Piccolo are the only ones who can save the earth now, but it seems as if Piccolo is under the effects of the mist too, now what will Gohan do? Android/Cell Saga A sword wielding Super Saiya-jin from the future has come to the past and has destroyed Freeza and King Kold with ease. He brings a message of pure despair. He explains of a future that has been under the wrath of two unbelievably powerful monsters, they are androids that were created by an old member of the Red Ribbon army, a fleet of people who were destroyed by Goku long ago. Because of this, the old member Dr. Gero seeks revenge on Goku by creating these two androids This Saiya-jin tells the Z team that his name is Trunks, he is the son of Vegeta and Bulma. He is the last defender of earth in his timeline, the rest of the Z warriors have been killed, mostly by the androids. But Goku wasn't killed by the androids; soon after arriving back to earth, he suffered and died from a viral heart disease. This is why Trunks visits they're timeline, to deliver the cure to Goku's viral ailment. Before he leaves he tells them to prepare, he will be back in 3 years to help them defeat the androids who hold tremendous power. He flies off in his time machine, and then the Z warriors prepare for the worst. Buu Saga The saga starts off with everyone participating in the 25th World's Best Martial Arts Tournament. At first its a pretty normal tournament until what seems like an unphasable monster does battle with Videl which brings here to near death. Gohan jumps in to help his fallen friend, but thats when the match ends, Videl is rushed to medical aid, and Gohan swears vengence. Gohan's battle begins, it is against Kibito, a person the Z warriors have never seen before. Kibito says "Show me your true power, I want to see if you can help us" Gohan is stunned at first, and quite bewildered at the remark. But he does as he says "I will show you the power of the Super Saiya-jin that surpasses Super Saiya-jin". He powers up, the whole tournament stage starts to crack, everyone watches in aww.... thats when a very high god, the east Kaioushin, who is a diety above even King Kai, immobilizes Gohan so that 2 evil villians can steal his power. Kaioushin is regretful to do this, but he wants to follow the 2 villians back to their headquarters, So Kaioushin follows the 2 villians and the Z warriors tag close behind, on their way to the villians hideout, he tells them that they would face an evil with power that surpasses all of theirs, the strongest most evil villian they will ever face....
