A superb debut album from the power rockers from the U.S. An Education In Rebellion consists of 11 songs each individual in their own way, for example track 6 Killing The Fly starts off with a catchy techno riff with the blend of both guitars whilst track 8 Revolution Man starts off slow and melodic, something that could be played at a massive shootout in slow motion in a film. The first two tracks are immensely boring, only because they are intros and it really starts to kick in on track 3 South Texas Deathride apart from having a cool name the track is pretty good with the repeating phrase of cmon, cmon, cmon, get up get up. However there are moments of swearing and some mentioning of drugs which some listeners may find offensive. There really aren't any stand out tracks since all of the tracks are just as good as each other. My favourite songs are all evenly spaced out throughout the album, not a big bunch at the beginning or at the end, this keeps you listening all the way through so you wont get bored, quite clever really. There's some real talent here that shouldnt be wasted, Bryan Scotts amazing voice and writing abilites with John Moyer and Patrick Kennison on Bass and Lead Guitar with Josh Memolos brilliant drum riffs. I think this album is a must for all collections.
