Buckcherry - 'Time bomb' - By C. Impey
"Time Bomb" is Buckcherry's follow-up to their debut self-titled album. Buckcherry make very good sleazy rock n roll, with a similar style to bands like Guns N'Roses. Personally I haven't heard anything as good as this from the same genre, since I picked up G&R's "Appetite for Destruction", and I'm pretty convinced that 99% of the people who purchase this will agree.

The opening track, "Frontside" is relatively fast paced and sets the album off to a great start, hinting on what's to come. This track is followed up by one of my favourites from this album, "Ridin" is brilliant. Josh Todd's voice is top class, backed up by some brilliant music, the guitar work is so good.

Track 4 provides the albums dodgy moment. "P*rno Star" is a song about...well...being a p*rn star I suppose. It's sleazy and full of dodgy lyrics such as, "I'm a big d*ck, mother- f*cking p*rno star". I think these lyrics sort of spoil the song a little as otherwise it would be another great track. The album soon gets back to 'normal' though with "A Place In The Sun" which compared to the other songs is mid-tempo, with similarly great guitar work and brilliant vocals.

Generally the music behind Buckcherry is excellent, the vocals are amazing and the lyrics are brilliantly laid back.

My favourite songs have to be "Ridin", "Slit My Wrists", "Whiskey In The Morning" and "Slamin", these are probably my favourite Buckcherry songs ever, including some that I've heard from the debut release.

Every fan of general rock music should own this album, especially if you're a fan of this genre and bands like AC/DC and Guns N'Roses.
