Pile of heads is not your average band. The members have, in the past worked with musicians from Filter, Prong, Halford, Rob Zombie’s band and more. They’ve recorded for Capital, Epic, Atlantic and Roadrunner records. They’ve shared stages from coast to coast with such heavy hitters as Slipknot, Rob Zombie and Fear Factory, but that’s not what makes pile of heads unique. Want to understand? LISTEN TO IT NOW!

If you’ve spent any amount of time on the internet, you’ve no doubt heard about pile of heads. Prior to playing their very first live show, the band had developed a strong internet presence. They first posted some self-produced tracks on several high profile sites. Within 2 days of posting, pile of heads had two top 30 songs on mp3.com, iuma.com and others. After 2 weeks, the band had cracked mp3.com’s top 5. After receiving a staggering number of requests, they decided to release the rough demos on a CD. Written, arranged, produced, recorded and mixed by the members themselves and using only 8 tracks, the CD was rough around the edges but it was 100% pile of heads.

To Date, this CD entitled “D.I.Y. Self-produced demos” (and released without the benefit of artwork) has become a top 10 best seller at mp3.com. Pile of heads have reached #2 on the mp3.com charts and are being added to more radio stations (internet and traditional) every day. The band’s out of control live performances are also adding tremendously to the band’s growing buzz. Those who have their ear pressed firmly to the street, are talking about pile of heads.
