1. Human: Humans are like you and me (i hope). They are fickle and base their actions on their moods. They like to take advantage of situations and use everything to forward their own desires and purposes.

2. Elf: Elves are NOT the short, weird freaks Santa works with. Elves are beautiful, mysterious and tall creatures with slender frames. Elves have a love of nature and are slightly xenophobic. They are also very smart, but their innocence lets others take advantage of them. Elves have no facial hair except eyebrows, meaning no mustaches or beards. They are usually between 5'8(female) and 6'5(male) and live for 800 years or more.

3. Dwarf: Dwarves are short, stocky, and tough. They act like they are better, smarter, and stronger than everyone else, but down inside they are softies. Every dwarf, including females, has a beard. They are usually 4' tall and live for 250 years.

There is a variation in the dwarven race: gully dwarves. Usually between 3' and 4' tall, they are considerably skinnier and stupider than their brethren. They are dirty and considered vermin by all races. They usually live for 50-100 years.

4. Halfling: Halflings are short and usually fat. They love being pampered and are often rich with bodyguards and servents. They usually have curly, dark hair and rather large feet. They are between 3' and 4' and live for 150 years.

There are also two variations on the halfling race: hobbits and kender. Hobbits are usually slightly skinnier than halflings and do not like to travel. Kender are taller and considerably thinner than their cousins. They are also kleptomaniacs. Kender sometimes contract "wanderlust," where they will travel the earth pointlessly, and, as usual, wreaking havoc wherever they tread.

5. Gnome: Gnomes are akin to dwarves, only slimmer, shorter, and their noses are pointier. Gnomes are braniacs that talk a lot and are confusing. They are usually 3' tall and live for 200 years.

6. Crossbreeds: There are a few of these. Half-elves are like elves but 6" shorter with some human characteristics like beards and the like. Elflings are elf and halfling mixes. They are usually between 4' and 5' tall and chubbier than elves. They don't have the elven proficiency with the bow, song, or movement either. Any other mix involving dwarves, halflings, and gnomes usually produces nervous creatures with mental disorders and an identity crisis.

7. Centaur and Minotaur: Centaurs are half-horse half-man creatures. They are warlike and jovial, with a tendency towards drinking. They are known for their bravery and also for the bagpipes. Minotaurs are half-man half-bull. They are a sea-faring race, noted for their incredible mapmaking skills. However, they are extremely violent and have a quick temper.

8. Most people stick to the races above. However, there are a few who wish to use others. I'll list most of them: goblin, giant, golem, dragon, lizardman, pseudodragon, werewolf, vampire, and wraiths of various sorts.
