I am Steve Zankou and you are currently reading all there is to know about me... although if you think about it, you could never know all that there is to know about me... not that I am any better. There is no way for me to ever fully understand why I do the things I do. Social psychologists have studied the minds of people like Hitler and Einstein and still have barely scratched their essences. The reason for this trouble is that the essence of a person is abstract and therefore, cannot be experienced on a physical level. We cannot touch, see, taste, smell, or hear one's essence. Abstract concepts such as the nature of the human condition, and the difference between right and wrong seem impossible to figure out... but people try. Religion is based on answering fundamental questions like these. The sad truth is that we humans will never be able to know everything. However, perhaps the lack of this knowledge is what makes life so beautiful. Ignorance is bliss, as they say... and not knowing everything means that people will always have something to think about. Could you imagine, not being able to ponder the wonders of the universe? What would life be? It is important to understand that we cannot answer these questions that have the boggled the minds of people since the monkey fell out of the tree and landed on his feet.
