The latest has begun. I was approached by a local tattoo artist named Marco Hyder to do the cover of Motorhead's "Another Perfect Day" on my back. He named his price and I couldn't say no. So on April 14th I sat in Ancient Art Tattoo on Cleveland Street in Va. beach for 4.5 hours to get the outline done. I will be posting photos as the tattoo progresses. It will take about 10 sessions total.
This is what it will look like when it's done
This was after 4 and a half hours under the needle April 14, 2004
This is after another 4 and half hours under the needle April 28, 2004
4 more hours on May 26, 2004 and 4 more on June 9, 2004
This is how it looks as of now. (1-3-05) About 3 more sessions and we're finished!
OK. Done! Enjoy!

Left arm - December 2000
Those who know me know that I am a HUGE Thin Lizzy fan. When I had to give up the drums in 2000 for physical reasons, the bass seemed to be the next natural progression for me. Phil Lynott (R.I.P.) has had a great influence on my playing. His words and the music he created have made a great impression on me, so much that I had a likeness of him tattooed on me. This sketch of Phil was done by Jim Fitzpatrick, Christmas 1982.

Right arm - September 1997 &
October 2001
The Hollywood tattoo was done in 1997 in Venice Beach, Ca. The Harley tattoo was a piece of tattoo flash that I saw at Toucan Tattoo in Gloucester Point, VA. It just struck me as something that I would like to have, so I got it!

Right calf - February 2002
The Rolling Stones have been a favorite of mine since I was a kid. One of my older brothers was a big fan and got me into them at an early age. For years I said that the tongue would be my first and only tattoo, but it didn't happen that way at all. It is my 4th so far.

Left calf - June 21, 2002

Right shoulderblade - October 25,
2002
This is a piece of tattoo flash, but the image struck me when I saw it this past Summer. After my wreck on October 1, 2002, it made me want it even more. The scripture? Look it up!
