Nature Continued

                      Ode to Bonaire 2/28/05

A breeze that is never ending
A short lived rain
Vibrant colors
The taste of salt in the air
A feeling of extreme ease
No need to wear socks
Waering a bathing suit all day

                        Cold 12/20/04

The wind is bitter
On this early winter day
My face burns with the whip of the wind
My eyelashes become weighted down by
snowflakeses
My hands quiver and shake
My toes become numb
But then I come in beside the fire
So warm and gentle
What a gift flame is

                         Snow Fall

Snow falls
In sheets of white
Reaching for frozen earth
Replacing color with white
Snow's plight

                    Sun

Wake up, wake up
The dawn is breaking
A silowet flys over the forest
Light hits the closed eyes of a girl
Dreams disinigrate
Bound for a realm
Far away
The river begins to flow
And its water laps the shore
The farmer enters his feild
As the warm light
Bathes the world
Mist hangs like a cape
Over the world
And as we wake
The sun runs its course
Across the sky
And it reaches its apex
And falls back to earth
And the day is done
For now and 'til the sun rises
Once again

                               Peaceful 11/8/04

O, so serene
Like the water of a hilltop stream
Not a human sound can be heard
Only the babble of the brook
It wispers things to me
In a song only for my ears
I lie on the bank and let my hair fall
It flows with the stream
As though they are one
Only emotions, no words
Light and Dark are as one
No bird song
No rustle of the leaves
Only the babble of the brook

                        Peaceful Night 11/8/04

Sitting on at rock
Under a waterfall
The only sound is the rush
Of water true and clear
The moon has risen among the stars
But no wolf duth howl
And no owl duth hoot
There is no fear
Only the calm and peace

                        Water 2 12/15/05 (
Water 1)

A rushing swriling seamless mass
To divine to be held to foirm or color
It has a subtel hand
But it has force more
Than the blade of the gallant kight's sword
It has carved the face of earth

It is a mirror of the solid world
And a window into the world below its tide
Its route can be altered
But only the untouched brook has pure beauty

Its hand has strangled many a soul
But too without its self
We would all lie silent in our graves
Though water touched by salt is buoyant
It can bring eternal darkness forward

Brook, Stream, River, Ocean
Lake, Tibe, Bay, Gulf
A home to many
A savior of life
But a bringer of death
This is the untamed beauty I love
The beauty of Water
