Besides the practical job skills they gain, students also have the opportunity to apply what they've learned in the classroom. Under the best circumstances, students not only get a glimpse of what they'll do after graduation they start to interact with professionals in their field--they find out what it means to be a manager, stock brocker, engineer or government agent.
