I did this pic becuase there was a space on the main menu that was bugging me. So I decided I'd have MZ and his pal spraying something onto the wall, not to sure why I had him making fun of me though...

Not my usual kind of thing as you may be able to tell. This is infact a homework piece for my Art AS course, its a transcription of a famous painting by Bartolome Bermejo, and its called "Saint Michael Triumphant over the devil with the Donor Antonio Juan."
I've been thinking about getting some t-shirts / tops printed up with my characters on them, and so thought I'd try to expand my range of human characters. The hair style was nicked from somebody in the college library ( the hair theif strikes again Bwahhahaahaa!!)
very loosely based on myself, this is the latest incarnation of a very old character of mine who I used in fiction stories when I was in highschool, anyway his name is Steve Hicks. Once again I was very pleased with the combat trousers.
'Skulboy' as he has been temperarily nick-named, may be featuring on the cover of Anarchaos's album should the band like him. Reason why is becuase Gary their guitarist has asked me to do them an album cover, and this is the first idea that I've had so far. If he doesn't like it then I'm going to keep the idea anyway as I think its pretty cool.
1st of two versions, this is just something I got from my imagination, no real copying this time, though I dont think its as impressive as the one above.
2nd version of this picture. This time I did nick the colour scheme from someone at the college, looks pretty good I think.
I was just experimenting with hair styles, and so this head was born, maybe at some point in the future it will grow a body, who knows?
Part of what seems to be my growing 'Special forces' group I was quite pleased with the shading on this becuase I discovered that its worth the extra time using a spray paint effect in a darker skin tone than using the 'darken' tool, it just doesn't look as good. Once again the hair style was nicked from a college student (hair thief 2 students 0 bwahaahaa!!)
Ok, ok! I know that the uniform is a complete rip off of Jill Valentine from Resident Evil, so bite me! I decided that I needed to draw a greater variety of body types and so I modelled this on an old friend of mine who is quite short. Turned out quite nice.
This is another one of my 'Big head' characters, If I'm going to start doing characatures then I'm probably going to have to use this format. I therefore really need to work on personalising facial features. Also I think I'm getting better at hair highlights, which are kinda difficult.
This is the first picture that Ive done with the specific idea of putting it on a t-shirt, thus I did the black backing version to make it look better on a black t-shirt (viewable by using the link below)
