| The One-Man Tribe | ||||||||
| Your drunk, disgusting eyes are void. Don't kid yourself; I'd break the glass right in those weary eyes If such a faithful charm would fall from your proud neck The days of tapestries too brilliant to survive Play reruns in my pensive head Erode the mountain peaks, too soon, I dread Glacial damage, constant seance Remember when you said you wanted to be great? You are the sacred ritual of the one-man tribe Roll your childish tongue, ideas of conquering the world alone Such foolishness should ship you off in packing peanuts I cannot keep the laughter in a box beneath my bed for any longer. Nor the anger, confusion, tears, nor...you. Shit. |
