PRESIDENT The club's Chief Executive Officer. The President supervises the other executive members, presides at club executive meetings and oversees the general operation of the club. In cooperation with the executive team, he/she establishes club goals in such important areas as membership and education. The President is also expected to be present at important Area and Division activities and meetings.
VICE PRESIDENT OF EDUCATION The 2nd highest-ranking club officer and perhaps the most demanding of all executive positions. The VP Education is responsible for planning club meetings and directing the club's educational programs. The VP Education schedules speeches, prints and distributes weekly and monthly meeting agendas, signs Communication and Leadership manuals and assigns mentors to new members - if needed.
VICE PRESIDENT OF MEMBERSHIP The 3rd highest-ranking club officer. The VP Membership organizes and carries out the club's programs to promote membership growth and membership retention. With the club Secretary, the VP Membership is responsible for maintaining an accurate membership list.
VICE PRESIDENT OF PUBLIC RELATIONS The 4th highest-ranking club officer responsible for internal and external public relations for the club. The VP Public Relations prepares and distributes news releases regarding club activities, publicizes club events, represents the club with the media and works with other club officers to develop literature about the club.
SECRETARY The 5th highest-ranking club officer responsible for all club records and supplies. The Secretary records the minutes of club and executive meetings and orders club supplies.
TREASURER The 6th highest-ranking club officer responsible for club finances. The treasurer disburses funds in payment of all obligations, notifies members of dues payable and collects the dues. Along with the VP Membership and Secretary, the Treasurer ensures that semi-annual membership reports, dues and membership roster are mailed to World Headquarters and received there by October and April.
SERGEANT AT ARMS The 7th highest-ranking club officer serves as the master host and makes the proper physical arrangements for all club meetings. It is a very responsible position as the Sergeant-at-Arms must attend all (if possible) meetings and be there ahead of time. He/she coordinates with the VP Public Relations and VP Membership to ensure that each member and guest is welcomed at club meetings.
PAST PRESIDENT The Immediate Past President provides guidance and serves as a resource to club officers and members.
