He is a broke dog that has been hunted on wild pheasants and quail in OK and Kansas. He has also been used as a guide dog on a hunting preserve in SE Oklahoma. He will point, back, and is whoa broke. He is responding to the "whoa" command in this picture. He is also a pretty good retriever, but will drop the bird just short of you at times.
