Mike's Basment Arcade

All of the games pictured here belong to me and most are in my basement right now

This was the first commercial arcade game ever made.

Computer Space was built and programmed by Nolan Bushnell the founder of Atari and Chuck E. Cheese

Only 1500 were ever produced.

This game was the American Version of Taito's Space Invaders II that has the same cabinet design but different side and monitor glass graphics. The attract mode displays "Space Invaders II" Even though all the other references to the game (flyers, serial number tags, monitor glass, motherboard, etc) all say "Space Invaders Deluxe. This is possibly  due to the licensing agreement between Midway and Taito that allowed for only limited program changes. Space Invader Deluxe was the first game to include an intermission between levels.
