Due to the huge turnout in our recently concluded membership recruitment, MESAU needed a new climb site that could accommodate the large number of new applicants that had confirmed their intention to join the introductory climb. With the help of Chito from PALMC and Regie of Globe Adventure, they suggested that we survey Mt. Kanumay in Baras, Rizal. According to them, Mt. Kanumay's camp site could accommodate up to two hundred campers. So, with nothing to do this weekend, we decided to head to this rather sleepy and isolated place and gather as much information as we can.
