The Darkside of the Light

Out of the darkness enters the light,
whoes arks of happiness light my soul up so bright.
But if such a light is ever obtained,
one could expect it hard to contain.
It can not be placed in a jar and stored for safe keeping,
thinking of losing it stops me from sleeping.
I cannot help but worry my light will be shrouded,
and all my hopes and dreams will once again be grounded.
I will fall back into the dark shadows I once called home,
filling my soul again with pain, suffering and woe.

Fear is the Mind Killer

people are full of emotions which are beast not to be used
because if you start panicing you are certain to lose.
Fear is the mind killer, but the mind spawns fear,
In my head the troubles seem so near.
I cannot tell what is fact and what is fiction,
expecting the worst is my new found ediction.
I can only see darkness,
there is no light to be found,
I am certain thats what's draggin me down.
people need to see hope in their lives,
or else their destiny will be what they despise.
but hope is very hard to find,
especially when its your life that's screwed,
I'd probably know the answer if this was happenin to you.

Should of Known

dazed and confused I lay broken on the floor,
to lost to tell what's real anymore.
I take a glance up but am still too blind to see,
I really thought we were meant to be.
there was something I missed,
a fact overlooked. I probably would have found it,
if I ever wanted to look.
But when you see a diamond,
you don't check for flaws.
you just throw it in the safe and close the doors.
