"Atlantis 2 is a highly imaginative take on the science fiction genre, with solid
characterizations, good pacing, and healthy doses of political intrigue. It is the latter that sets
the work apart from other works in the genre, and other stories based on surviving an
apocalyptic scenario. Nya in particular is a convincing, well developed, and sympathetic character with an internal life
and motivations of her own. Earth's relationship with the Galactic Coalition was both intriguing
and an interesting meditation on how people can see (or be told/expected to see) various sorts
of relationships between peoples. (...)a more literary science fiction novel such as this one where
the material rises above some of the more regressive material out there and gets more into
details about what living in this world means to its people, and to readers. The back story
of the novel was quite fascinating, and it would be interesting to see it developed (...) perhaps
even in another novel if necessary. The author has a talent for creating worlds that are both
