The Daily Jellicle!!!

Welcome to the Jellicle's one stop mewspaper! In today's issue, We'll have all sorts of stuff. The only problem is that we might not be able to update this every day (and "The Every-other-day Jellicle sounded tacky!) so bear with us!

JELLICLE BRAVERY -
Not very long ago, Munkustrap risked his life.
Out of the goodness of his bold heart, Munkustrap saved Etcetera, a member of the Jellicle tribe, from the sewer.
At the peril of his own life, Munkustrap dove in without a thought to his own safety.
He is today declared a Jellicle hero, and Etcetera has been banned from the area of the sewer.

Rumor has it that The Tugger and Bomblurina are going out! The same with Mistoffelees and Victoria!
There is no known reason why both couples want to keep this news 'hush-hush'.

On Decemeber 18 the elderly Jellicle Leader, Old Deteronomy recived The Jellicle leader Award. Deteronomy is said to be over 100 years old and one of the most resected Jellicles ever. The award ceromony bagan at 9:00 pm and lasted through 1:29 pm. Performances accompaning the award giving included Magical Mr.Mistoffelees' infamous magic act, a duet sung by Demeter and Bombalurina, and a stunning ballet danced by Victoria and Cassandra. In between the tears Deteronomy gave the last speech of the evening making it a night to remember.

CATS closing - again!!

'CATS', America's favourite family musical is finally closed on Broadway. 'CATS' was supposed to have its last performance at the Wintergarden Theatre on June 25th, but an increase in ticket sales caused not one, but two extensions. On August 10th, 'CATS' finished its first life.
But never fear, kittens, 'CATS' has has eight more to go!! "Now and Forever!"

Bombalurina may be related to none other than MACAVITY!

She does not seem the least bit disturbed when she sings about him (unlike Demeter) In fact, in some places she seems smugly proud, strange as it sounds. Also, how many bright red cats are there in the show?
Think about it.

BREAKING MEEEEEWWSS!!

There will be 8 purr-formances of CATS starting next year in April, 2002! The performances will be showing from April 9 -14, at the Lyric Opera House in Baltimore, Maryland. Tickets are not yet on sale from Ticketmaster but I'll keep you posted!
