My name is Santa Ho-Ho because I have a little round belly that shakes when I laugh like a bowl full of jelly. Ms. Mary says that's like Santa Claus in a Christmas poem called "The Night Before Christmas." It was before the night before Christmas when I went home with Ms. Mary, but I'm not sure which night before the night before it was. I guess that isn't important. If it were important, I'm sure I would have remembered which night.
I have such a good time here on the bookshelf with my friends. It is getting a bit crowded but that's okay ... except when I laugh. Then everyone says I am shaking the whole bookshelf and not just my little round belly. And when the bookshelf shakes, everyone jiggles and starts to laugh. And then Patriot Bear SIR has to say "HARRUMPH" to get us all to settle down. I wonder how we can get him to laugh, too. That would be fun! Then we'd all get to say "HARRUMPH" to get him to settle down.
