| Hi. Im Millennium. Im the largest family member and probably the quietest. Well, Tarabear might be quieter. She sits between my big knees, and sometimes shes so quiet I almost forget she is there. She is so small that she makes me feel big and strong. I really am big and strong; I just feel it more when a little person is leaning on me. She is very shy, so the others in the family tend to be a little more gentle and quiet around her. Thats okay with me. Id rather not have all the noise and scuffle. Ms. Mary found me in the Robinsons-May store in Valencia, California, in 1999. The store had 3 of us Faith, Hope, and Love that were special bears the Christmas before the new millennium. I think Ms. Mary intended to give me to a friend, but then she fell in love with me and kept me. She has a little green rocking chair that is just the right size for me. (It was made for her about 50 years ago.) I occupied the chair for a couple of years. Then Ms. Mary needed me up on the bookshelf to provide a little guidance for all the new family members. Its just as Happy Mothers Day said, the family grew by leaps and bounds, and it wasnt only because a few bunnies were adopted. This adoption business isnt done just by Ms. Mary, you know. She makes the initial choice and then the rest of us vote. So far, weve agreed with Ms. Mary on everybody shes brought home. Its nice to live with a woman who has good taste in fur and feathers! |
