| I was at the hotel Ms. Mary stayed in when she came to Louisville for the 90th Division Association Annual Reunion. She went to the gift shop to answer my call for a ride out west. She saw a bear that she thought was planning to travel to California. He told her he was helping me get her attention because we had heard about the trouble Royal had when he called to her. So Ms. Mary looked at me and said, "Are you going to California with me?" I could have answered, "Silly question," but I just smiled and nodded my head. (to be continued) |
