December 29, 2004 - From Ms. Mary to MM:
The menagerie missed me a little, but I set the timer on the Christmas tree lights so they could enjoy them first thing when they woke up in the morning and last thing before they went to sleep at night. Mr. Vegas said Santa Claus dropped in -- and Patriot Bear SIR confirmed his statement -- and they told him I was in Phoenix and had hung my stocking at Mom and Dad's. The menagerie got to see the little brown bear and all the other stuff Santa was going to put in my stocking, so they were all giggles and grins from knowing what I was getting before I found it in my stocking. And they had a chance to greet Happy before I knew he was joining the family. (The little brown bear is named "Happy" in honor of Santa Claus because Santa said "Happy Christmas to all and to all a good night" before he flew out of sight.)
The menagerie thanks you for being concerned about them. They send you furry and feathered hugs.
