And speaking of your poetry book . . . well, I have strict orders from the bookshelf to get in gear and make a donation to SSN and get a book for us. Mr. Vegas and TaraBear are the instigators of the project, of course -- I mean, they have personally met you, and you are responsible for their deliverance from the blustery northeast. (Like, wow, today was in the upper 70s here!) Anyway, ever since they finished sharing information with the rest of the menagerie, I have been informed by more than a few that they know how to use the computer and where I keep my credit cards, so if I don't go do the donation-thing on my own real soon, they will EACH make a $30 donation with one of MY credit cards. Do you have any idea how many $30 donations that would be?!?! Please send a book to P.O. Box 18375, Long Beach, CA 90807. I will log in to the SSN website after I get home and make a donation in full sight of the menagerie. I just hope no one gets so excited he/she falls off the bookshelf.
Lest you think that the entire menagerie is buying a pig in a poke as a result of TaraBear and Mr. Vegas, let me remind you that most of the family can read -- and they DO read over my shoulder when I am on the computer -- so they know exactly what they are buying. :-) I just hope they haven't gotten overly eager and done their own donating while I was at work today. How would I explain to the credit card companies that all my cards were charged to the max by stuffed fur and feathers?
