September 28, 2004 - From Ms. Mary to TS and KS:
I gave away (donated) enough books that I could rearrange the shelves. The three bookshelves standing together are filled with books now -- with the stuffed animals on top. The single bookshelf by the dining table was supposed to be for pictures and odds and ends, but a bunch of stuffed critters piled into the bottom two shelves, which left only 3 shelves for pictures. Sheesh. And the way those little eyes look up at me, I just don't have the heart to tell them to get back up on the bookshelf. So then Mr. Smoky (the Vermont bear) and the little brown post office bear took possession of the sofa. I thought stuffed animals were supposed to stay where you put them . . .
