Moments witnessed,
etched in my heart,
uplifting my soul....
Sitting side by side
their hands reach out
linking
fingertip to fingertip....
They share a brief glance,
hearts connected....
An embrace
Lovers lost in each other
alone on the beach....
The world that surrounds them
ceases to be
as they kiss....
A solitary figure
stands at water's edge
The vast ocean before her
representing life to come...
Content with herself,
she watches
as the sun sets....
A dolphin surfaces briefly,
Its mate swims alongside...
Seagulls hover on wind currents,
their cries pierce the quiet...
Stars shine in the night sky
the clarity of the moon
creates jewels,
dancing on the waves
of the incoming tide...
