| The stockings were hung on the bookshelf with care In hopes that St. Nicholas would find them there . . . (We seem to be missing a fireplace.) |

| The menagerie didn't do much as far as physical labor is concerned -- but they did offer a few suggestions regarding the placement of ornaments. And they were very generous with the "ooh-aah" appreciation at the proper times. Branson got dizzy watching the two little bears spinning on their hanging cords. TaraBear requested that the two little crystal angels be hung where she could see them. Our tree won't impress Martha Stewart, but then she isn't invited here for Christmas anyway. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| I was carried away with enthusiasm when I purchased a box of 600 tiny clear lights for my tree. If they had all been on one string, I would be hanging lights from now 'til Christmas Day! Fortunately, the lights were spread over four separate strings. I put one on the tree, and it looked good. So I put another one on. It looked better. (I bet you're thinking I ended up putting all four strings on the little tree! Nope. I didn't want the tree to look like it was on fire when I turned the lights on, so I stopped at two strings. I'm happy with 300 little stars shining brightly on my tree.) | |||||||||||||||||||||
