The endless battle of terra
Once, every eon, the gods come to earth and take a mortal form (avatar)and are reborn. They settle their differences here as it is not allowed in the otherworld, but from what I gathered some still goes on.
This is a set period known to all, and inforced by ancient law.
The gods may change now, new arrived, some leave, all change somehow.
On terra is traditionally a time of chaos.
Its is fom this we get the saying "beware interesting times"
The mages guild have located the avatars of four of the gods.
