1. Entries are final. No refunds will be made if a handler decides not to wait for his turn.
2. It is the handler’s responsibility to be present when their time comes to show. The ring steward will not leave the area of the ring to search for a handler that is not on hand; their duties are at/in the ring.
3. Unless otherwise posted at the sign-up area, each handler may sign-up for as many runs as they chose in any class. Spacing between those runs is at the discretion of the handler. This is part of the first-come/first-serve policy.
4. Handlers will show in the order in which their names appear on the sign-up sheets, even if this means a handler runs the same dog twice in succession, except as follows:
a. In Rally classes, some change may be made at the discretion of the judge or steward to reduce the number of changes in jump height and expedite flow into the ring.
b. The steward may make the smallest practical changes to the order, at the stewards’ discretion, to provide a pairing of UKC dogs in order to ease flow into the ring.
c. Any handler may request a change to a LATER time to eliminate a conflict in another ring or to separate showing of the same or a different dog. The handler will then be rescheduled in accordance with “d” below.
d. If a handler is absent when their turn comes, the steward will re-insert the handler as soon as the steward determines it is practical without disturbing the orderly flow of the ring OR the handler may chose to wait until last in the class.
5. All persons involved in running this event are volunteers giving their time to help others train and to raise money for MDTC. Harassment, of any kind at any level, over a decision, about a rule or for any other reason will not be tolerated. In such a case, the handler may be denied the right to show at the discretion of the harassed person, the judge for that ring, or the W & M Committee member present. If denied the opportunity to show, a handler may request a refund in writing to the following address.
