- Parents: Roy and Rosetta (Moore) Killman (both deceased)
- 1963 - She married George "Tiny" Beck
- 1965 - Her child, Vernon O. Beck, was born
- 1966 (Summer) - She was last seen
- 1967 (Summer) - Her husband filed for divorce
- 1968 (June) - Divorce was final
- She was born in Bakersfield, California and lived in the
area until the late 1950's or very early 1960's.
- While young, she moved to western Oklahoma to live
with her maternal grandparents. They lived in or near
Chickasha. Much of her family still resides there.
- When last seen, she lived near Shawnee, Nacoma
Park, Prague, Davenport, or north of Paden,
Oklahoma. This varies depending on who is providing the
information. According to a former landlord and his grown
daughter, Merriel last resided at his rent house just south of
Davenport, Oklahoma.
- She left with a "Hispanic man named Sunshine."
- She ran off with a man named Guy Baker from Prague, OK.
- She ran off with a motorcycle gang.
- She ran off with a van full of hippies.
- Fact: She did not take her child. He is a grown man with a
family of his own. He has not seen her since he was 1 1/2
years old.
- "Sunshine" (Possibly the man with whom she left.)
- Guy Baker from Prague, OK. Possibly the man with whom
she left. In 1966, he was around 54 years old. Guy may
have had a brother named Jay Baker.
- Billy Swift and Danny Gutierrez from California. These
were teenage boys who were friends of Merriel's from
California. If she went back to California, she may have
gone to visit her friends. According to her uncle, she had
no further verified contact with Merriel's family members in
California, Oklahoma, or anyplace else.
- She was 19 when last seen.
- She liked to fix her hair.
- She liked to sing, and she liked rock and roll music.
- She was outwardly loving and affectionate over her baby.
There were a couple of unverified contacts.
We do not know if she was ever issued a social security number, but we're in the process of trying to make that determination.
Her son, grandchildren, neices, siblings, cousin, and aunts and uncles wish to find her.
