As it Arrived in Texas
Once it arrived in Texas, a few basic mods were applied.  One obvious one was the clear headlight covers.  Not only do they protect the hard-to-get LHD lenses, but they seem to make the car look nicer too.  The first task was to get the car road-legal as far as inspection was concerned.

These exterior pictures were taken with the car unwashed.  To the layman, this is just another dolled-up Merkur.  The rims and tires were brand new 15" - 205/50/15s which give the right amount of cushion/comfort & looks.
The above is a few pics of the interior.  Overall, like the exterior, the condition is quite good for a car of it's age.  Again, the car was a daily driver at the time, and no attempt to clean the car before picture-taking was done.  The original dashboard (cracked) was ditched for a Merkur dashboard.  This left gaps around the A-pillars which would later be covered using original Merkur A-pillar trims.  Along with the dash, the cluster made the trip from Merkur to Cosworth.  This was done intentionally as I was contemplating a set of Merkur-spec electroluminescent gauges, which I later decided against.
The shell orginally came with Momo pedals (no suprise being of Italian origin) which I decided to keep, and also came with rear Momo seat belt cushions.  To complement it, while in England, I also bought and installed the wonderful Momo shifter which makes shifting the T5 much more comfortable and I  added a couple of "Performance Ford" front seatbelt cushions to the front.  The door speaker boxes was the previous owner's idea.  I quite like them.
