May God forgive me! I repent of my sin and confess.
I am married and I thought that I could play around on the side. I am even a Christian at that. A few years ago I started to contact men and women on the 'net. But never had the guts to actually meet. After I read what has happened to other men and couples, I woke up and realized the risk I am puting my family and myself in, I stopped and repented.
God does not want to be difficult but He created certain rules in life, like gravity. If you drop a rock on your toe, it hurts. If you have sex outside of marriage you get diseases or divorced. Why put yourself through all this pain and grief. Why put those you love through the hardship too. Just for some physical pleasure. Practice self control. Explore areas with your wife that you have not before. I am sure if you sat down with her and explained what you are feeling you both can work together, in Front of GOD!
Remember, in better or worse, in sickness or health, dont give up so easily. Be a man, in the true sense of the word.
I am writing these things as a testimony to the fact that you too can beat this! Dont let the current main stream fool you in to thinking you will be special. Remember the movie Philadelphia and Fatal Attraction!?!
I am also writing this to remind myself. This is not just a one time event. You dont just wake up and say GEE! I am not going to entertain these thoughts anymore and BAM they are gone. Its a long journey on a road that may never end. Stop now before its too late. If you have already started down that path I know there is help. Start with God. Ask him for help. Then go to your wife. Talk to her. She may already know. Your Pastor or Rabbi may also be available. Be honest. Ask for help. State your intention to beat this and work for it.
OK. Now I am going to delete those fake email accounts and delete all those group memberships and delete those pictures. (One tip I have for you is to change your password of the fake email account to one you will never remember, type in a line off the newspaper.)
Good bye. God bless. I wish you the best in your struggle as a man in the 21st century. May God help us all.
-me.
