Irish Stew



Cook the following in your pressure cooker
(bring pressure up and then simmer 25 mins on pressure)
cool pressure cooker by running under cold tap and open to add enough peeled and quartered potatoes as you would need for the amount of people you are serving.

Put pressure cooker back on.. bring up pressure and simmer for 5 mins more.

In a plastic jug put 600mls of milk and heat in your microwave... the time is different in each microwave but don't let it boil over

then mix to a paste
  • 1+1/2 tablespoons of cornflour
  • 1 tsp salt (or less if you prefer)
  • enough cold milk to mix
    Add 1 or 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
    Strain most of the liquid off the meat and mix with the sauce.
