Pudding, Gingerbread
Melt
Stir in
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup golden syrup
beat in:
dissolve:
- 2 tsp soda; in
- 1 cup cold milk
Stir in alternately with mixed dry ingredients:
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tablespoons ground ginger
- 1 dessertspoon mixed spice
- 3 cups flour
Line a baking dish with greased paper (or cooking paper)
Pour into dish and bake about one hour. in med oven.
Can be served hot with custard or whipped cream or may be cut into slices and eaten cold (buttered if preferred)
