Ginger loaf
- 3/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
Stir over medium heat to dissolve sugar. Then beat in

- 2 lightly beaten eggs
- 2 tablespoons golden syrup.
- 1 cup water; stirred in.
Sift together
- 1+1/2 cups flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 4 good teaspoons ginger
Blend until mixture is smooth (very wet mixtre). Bake in moderate oven for about 3/4 hr. Keep a day before cutting.
