Vanilla icecream
- 2 cup milk
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1+1/2 cups cream
- 2 tsp pure vanilla essence
- 1/4 tsp salt
To hot scalded milk add sugar, beaten eggs and salt
Stir all the while till sugar is dissolved (add slowly so it doesn't curdle)
Strain through cheese cloth, chill.
Add unwhipped cream, then vanilla.
*Freeze till mushy, scrape bottomand sides then beat 2 mins till smooth
Freeze - 3 hours at least
* this step can be repeated for better quality icecream
