Van Nuys - Three persons were
arrested Friday night following
an altercation with police at the
Moon Over Miami Bar & Grill.
Neighbors report that the club
on Ventura Blvd. has been the
scene of repeated disturbances
and brawls.
According to reliable sources,
a fight broke out between patrons
shortly before closing time. When
members of the LAPD arrived upon
the scene, one of the men, Nicholas
Boyle, 24, a recently discharged US
Navy SEAL, swung on the officers and
was promptly subdued. The other two
persons arrested were Ralph Watson,
34, of Encino, and Joanna Rodriguez,
22, of North Hollywood.
Damage to the premises was esti-
mated at about $5,000. Following
questioning, Watson and Rodriguez
were released on their own recogni-
zance. Boyle was remanded to the
LA County Jail to await a bail
hearing.
