Fred & Wilma - Sulcata Tortoises
Fred and Wilma are my newest pets. I got them both on March 26th,2006 at a local Repticon show. They are quite enjoyable to watch roaming around in the yard and grazing on edible grasses, plants and shrubs.

Here is Wima comming out of their little house.

They go inside to nap and rest out of the sun.
Here is Fred getting ready to take
a drink of water.

Here is Wilma having a bite of grass
for lunch.

Fred wonders if he can squeeze through  this   small space
This is a view of their whole area for now. As they grow I will make
the area larger and of course taller. Sulcata's can get very large. Fred and Wilma come inside at night for now but when they get too big for me to pick up they will have to stay outside in a better made house.  Pictures here and above taken in March 2006
Sidney the Aftican hinged side-neck turtle....
Fred getting bigger and his shell is starting to round out a little more with his better sulcata diet.

Fred & Wilma thinking they are getting a treat but actually I'm making sure they get their reptocal vitamins. They eat every last drop.
Fred decides to clean his white
reptocal face and have a sip of water too.  Not Wilma.... she went right
back to the borrow messy face and all.

Here's Wilma on the left. If you look very closely you can see she has her mouth wide open ready to get a big bitefull of veggies.
