Here are some Pics from the 2002 International Freedom Festival. This show took 8 of us 6 straight days to set up, 2 days to take down, and 32 minutes to fire. The show was launched off of 3 barges out in the Detroit River. We loaded them up on land and then floated them out into position. A little know fact is that the day of the show we received a bomb threat and frogmen had to come out and search the bottom of the barges before we could send them out. Fortunately, no bomb was found. As if there weren�t enough explosives around us already. There was approximately 20,000 lbs of fireworks on each barge. I was on the middle barge. This is one of the largest annual shows in the world and to date the largest I have worked on. just Click on the pictures to see a larger view.
