BobKat's Chihuahua Heaven

DADDY'S GIRL SAMANTHA Hi, everyone calls me Sammie. I

am a long-haired Chihuahua. I was born on March 4, 1999. My mom just looked it up on my registration papers. I have already had one litter of puppies, 4 in number, I might add. The smallest of them was Archie, and he still lives here with us. I am the queen bee of this bunch, although there are times when some of the others think they might like to hold that position. I have to work on keeping them in line. Now I have my second litter of puppies. I outdid myself. I had 5 this time. 4 females and 1 male. Look for them on the puppy page.

My main important job is making sure my master doesn’t get too fat. The more of his food I, and my buddies can scarf, the less goes to his waist. Second important job would be keeping Leisha from feeling her age too much. She lets me clean her eyes and ears. Sometimes it almost looks like she is eating me, but that is only illusion. She really loves me. Dad says I am helping to keep her young. I like to sleep under the covers with my mom and dad.

BOBKAT'S ARCHIBALD PEEBODY My name is a little bit of a joke, but mostly I am called Archie. I am a long-haired Chihuahua. My Dam is Sammy and my Sire is Cookie. I am not really a pee body. I am almost perfectly housebroken. I was born July 1, 2000. I turned out to be the smallest of a litter of 4, one of three males. Within 5 hours of my birth my family and I went on a 10 hour auto ride up to visit in Michigan. I have never in my life gotten car sick. Maybe that is why. Mom says I am her precious baby. I like that a lot. I sleep with my new wife to be, Rita, until in the morning. Then after we have had a trip outside, mom lets us “sleep” with her. Of course Rita, being the puppy she is, insists that it is the perfect opportunity to play attack the nose or attack anyone else that happens to be within reach. Not much more sleeping until she gets tired again. I like to jump and play with Rita a lot. Dad caught me in mid air in this picture. I am 2-1/2 months older than Rita, but she will be bigger than me.

HANNIBAL KEOKUK My name was a compromise. When I arrived here, Dad always wanted a son named Hannibal Keokuk. He never got that chance to name a son that. My mom said they could register me anyway he wanted, but only if they called me Cookie, so Cookie I am. I am a long-haired Chihuahua. I was born on June 13, 1999. I had my first puppies in March of 2000. So far I have had 15 puppies, all born live and surviving. I’m kind of proud of that record. I also have a litter on the way the third week of March. My mom says I am the sweetie of the bunch. My favorite place to sleep is snuggled up against her back. The other picture is to prove that I can get my ears up. Nap time is just about any time, and sleeping in the window lets me be ready to sound the alert at a seconds notice. Archie is right there with me.

BOBKAT'S RIO RITA My name is Rita. I'm a long haired Chihuahua. I am the youngest of the brood until the new puppies are born. I was born in Texas on November 16, 2000. I have traveled farther than any of the other puppies in our family except for Sammie. That is because she went to Texas with my folks when they bought me. We were staying with The Gram and Gramp and their best friend Mitzie. You can see Mitzie farther on in this site. Mitzie was not quite sure what to make of Sammie and me, but they said she sure missed us when we left. My mom says that I really should be called Sassy. Very rarely do I back down from anything. Someday Archie and I will have puppies, but I am only interested in having fun and creating mischief at this point in my life. I really like to jump on Mom and Dad’s face, and we all love to beg for tidbits.

Mom calls the third picture here Little Feet/Big feet. Rita is the one with the big feet.

After the puppies got weighed and their pictures taken, we decided we should see what was going on on the table. It looked like a great place to take a nap. Dad still had the camera out, so here we are hamming it up.

Don't I look beautiful. This first one is almost a month after the picture on the right. I'm thinking of telling that TacoBell dog to move over. I have such an expressive face. I am not exactly shy either. I'm working on the ears, but it takes a little time. Kind of think they look like pony tails now, don't you?
