Contribution to the Venerables: A whole range of enjoyable evenings, including quizzes, casinos, cabarets and numerous adhoc alcoholic sessions. A great raconteur and a quietly succesful mimic. However his most impressive contributions have been his Burns Nights. Apart from his organisational skills, his rendition of Tam O'Shanter is a veritable tour de force.

A great gastronome, he has regailed/delighted us with mouthwartering accounts of gutsy recipes from the cuisines of Europe eastwards to the Indian Sub-Continent.

Internationally peripatetic golfer, Spain, France, Scotland, Denmark and hence an acknowledged expert on Carlos Primeros, Remy Martin, single malt whisky and schnapps. Peter's presence on the course can be pinpointed by the smoke signals he continually sends up.
