Reality

Intricate shades of color wash over my eyes As instinct wipes them away.
Blurred is my vision as I travel along
From day to day, blind yet not knowing it.

I'm protected by censors of lies
And artificial happiness is given out everywhere.
Heating of topics of question in minds
And curiosity is thought of as taboo.

Coins are tossed into the pond
Only to sink, yet the dreams remain.
At least they cant censor dreams
Because what would reality be worth?
