Fireflies

Repetitive flashing
Near and distant both.
As the blinking towers stand tall
And their light is slow and steady.

Intimidating bolts randomly smear
The quickly falling horizen.
As the sight of shadows fall
Over the statues that fade.

Blends of different events
All promiscuously similar yet diverse.
All braided together
Colliding in the piercing turbulence.
