Distance
I can't take this separation of souls,
Which should be united eternally.
Rocks of distance crumble onto me,
As I suffocate with my losses.
Nothing shines through the darkness,
That's enveloping my heart.
As the bumps along the road,
Become deep ravines of love.
As time stretches on across the valleys,
And my mind's fogged thoughts slowly clear.
I know that if I'm patient, it'll be,
For darkness is only for a moment in time.
